NABJ-STL is proud to serve as a meeting place, support system and professional development resource for Black journalists in the region.

For more than four decades GSLABJ has advocated for working journalists and communications professionals, as well invested in educating future media professionals.
Each year GSLABJ distributes thousands of dollars in scholarships to the youth, hosts networking events, and honors veteran communications professionals for their contributions to the community.
