President's Message.

I'd like to welcome you on behalf of the National Association of Black Journalists - St. Louis, the St. Louis area chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists.

For 47 years NABJ-STL has served the St. Louis community by advocating for African American journalists and communications professionals.

​

In 1977, GSLABJ established the Minority Student Journalism Workshop -- a free program providing training and networking resources to high school and first-year college students. The program served as a model for other NABJ chapters' student workshops.

 

I am honored to serve as President of NABJ-STL and continue our mission to advocate, inspire and champion efforts to elevate Black journalists not only in St. Louis, but across the nation.
